"Connexus offers primarily conversation based English classes with a few writing and grammar classes as well. This job definitely requires conversation and sociability! Many classes center on discussion, and by working with adults opportunities for cultural exchange often arise. Teaching English at Connexus not only provides learning experiences for the students, but also for the teacher. You and your class will not only discuss and debate topics that interest students, but also issues about Korea that appeal to you. The small class sizes create a more intimate setting, a chance for you to get to know your students on a more personal level. Often your students will want to go for coffee and get to know you outside of a class setting. Life long friendships form while teaching at Connexus.

More than just teaching happens at Connexus. Within the office you will become part of the greater Korea Anabaptist Center community. Staff, administrators, teachers, and often students cook and eat lunches together in a family style. You will never be bored as the staff often gets together on the weekend either to explore Seoul or just hang out and watch a movie. You will have the opportunity to experience a home stay, which provides a great chance for you to learn more about Korean life and culture. If you are looking for an international experience with a purpose, teaching at Connexus is the way to go!"
